Homecoming is right around the corner!  Have you made your after school plans for Friday, Sept. 30th?  If you are taking a different bus you will need to bring a note from your parent/guardian Friday morning before school or during your lunch period.  Passes require a parent/guardian note.  Texts are not accepted.  If parents/guardians call after lunch, we cannot guarantee you will get the message.  You will not be allowed to make calls home for after school plans during class time.  This is an extremely busy day so please plan ahead.

Attention Multicultural Club students.  There will be a meeting tomorrow, September 28th in the Spanish room from 3 – 4 pm.  We will have a guest speaker from Japan and we will learn about Japanese culture.  Don’t miss it!

7th & 8th grade percussion section should head to the band room for CARES.

Congratulations to the cross country team who improved last night and placed 4th for both boys and girls at Chippewa Falls.  Fifty-four runners ran lifetime personal bests, too many to name on announcements, but here are a few highlights:  Logan Hollinger ran a huge personal best of 13:40 for 3 miles, scoring for the boy’s team.  Kayden Nowlen improved his personal record to 23:00, improving by three minutes!  Colton Ponto ran 17:47 improving by over a minute and a half!  On the girl’s side, Shannon Mason ran a huge personal best of 15:57.  Madeline Palmer improved her lifetime personal record, running 14:10.  Ali Rue ran a personal best of 16:48, improving by over a minute!  Nice job to all!

Jr. Optimists/Core Value Rep opportunity.  We will be taking a field trip to Hoffman Hills on Wednesday, October 19th for site preservation.  We will leave at 9:45 am and return about 1:30 pm.  Be sure to wear clothes appropriate for weather outdoors.  Permission forms must be returned to the front office by Friday, October 14th.
