The results for our MMS Trex Challenge are in for February.  7 Silver is the winner as they collected the most clean, dry plastic bags.  The team with the most monthly wins will get an ice cream party at the end of the school year.  The standings at this time are:  7 Silver, 6 Blue, 6 Green and 8 White with 1 point each.  7 gold is in the lead with 2 points.  There are 3 months left in the challenge…so all teams still have a shot at the ice cream party.

Congratulations to all MMS Forensics students for a fantastic season capped off by a great showing at Level 2 last evening.  All students earned a blue ribbon!  Congrats!  Don’t forget our root beer float party next week Thursday, March 10th.

Congrats to your boy’s swim team as they swam some of their best times of the year!  Thanks to all who made the trip to Eau Claire to cheer them on!

Do you have hidden talents?  Calling all actors, musicians and dancers to audition for Fame, Jr!  Auditions are next week Monday, March 7th, and Tuesday, March 8th, from 3 – 5 pm in the choir room.  Students only need to attend one of the two audition days.  Any questions see Mrs. Enyeart.  You do not want to miss being a part of this show.

Spring sport sign-ups will be held during lunch on Monday, March 7th and Thursday, March 10th for 7th & 8th girls’ soccer and 7th & 8th girls and boys track.

It is that time of year again when the Menomonie Optimist Club hosts the Optimist International Oratorical Contest in hopes on having one of our Dunn County students bring home the District’s $2,500 Scholarship.  This year the judges at the District Competition will also choose one speaker to compete at the very first International Oratorical Contest June 23rd and 24th.  The winner at the International Contest is $15,000 scholarship!  Wouldn’t that be a great way to pave the path to college!  You can pick up an information sheet and application in the front office.  Applications are due March 25th, 2016.
