Acting is the hardest profession in the world.  No, dance is the hardest profession in the world.  No, music is the hardest profession in the world.  Regardless, they all require hard work!  Do you have what it takes?  Be a part of Fame, Jr!  Auditions are next week Monday, March 7^th, and Tuesday, March 8^th, from 3 – 5 pm in the choir room.  Any questions see Mrs. Enyeart.

The final Minecraft Club meeting of the 2015-16 school year will be this Thursday, March 3^rd at 3 pm in the computer and business labs.  Hope to see you there!

Spring sport sign-ups will be held during lunch on Monday, March 7^th and Thursday, March 10^th for 7^th & 8^th girls’ soccer and 7^th & 8^th girls and boys track.

Core Values/Jr. Optimists will meet on Friday, March 4^th in the cafeteria.  We will be taking pictures and discussing our Hoffman Hills field trip.

Thank you to our 7^th grade students who went on the Wild Mountain field trip yesterday.  Reps from Wild Mountain told us you were the best group they have ever had – over all the schools!  Thank you for representing our school and community in such a positive way!

Student Council members are reminded to sign up for the Empty Bowls event on the Student Council website.  Workers are needed both Friday after school and Saturday morning.  Please consider helping with this great community event.

Music students planning on performing at Solo and Ensemble Festival need to turn in all slips and registration fees this week.

It is that time of year again when the Menomonie Optimist Club hosts the Optimist International Oratorical Contest in hopes on having one of our Dunn County students bring home the District’s $2,500 Scholarship.  This year the judges at the District Competition will also choose one speaker to compete at the very first International Oratorical Contest June 23^rd and 24^th.  The winner at the International Contest is $15,000 scholarship!  Wouldn’t that be a great way to pave the path to college!  You can pick up an information sheet and application in the front office.  Applications are due March 25^th, 2016.
