MHS Announcements - Monday, March 10, 2025
*The Menomonie Mustang boys' basketball team concluded its season with a 14-12 overall record. On Friday, the Mustangs secured a decisive 74-31 victory over the Medford Raiders in the regional playoffs. This win advanced them to the next round, where they faced Wausau East. Despite their efforts, the Mustangs' postseason run ended. The team has much to be proud of.
*Today is the final day to purchase the Pulsera Project colorful hand-woven bracelets. Each Pulsera costs only $5 and comes tagged with the photo & signature of the artisan who made it. Stop by during both A and B lunches to purchase your bracelet.
*Thank you MHS for your support Friday for the HOSA Blood drive! We had 29 total units collected saving up to 87 lives!
*Sophomores--New for next year MHS has partnered with the Chamber of Commerce and UW-Stout to offer a community based leadership opportunity. The Youth Menomonie Leadership Program is designed to give high school juniors in the Menomonie Area the opportunity to learn more about their community and further develop the leadership skills necessary to become motivated, active members of their communities while earning a college credit to be applied at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. This would be outside of your regular MHS class schedule. If interested in learning more, see your counselor or Mr. Drake.
*Attention winter sport athletes your season is complete. It's time to clean out your athletic locker in the locker room to make room for spring sports. Next week all locker rooms will be closed for cleaning with the disinfecting pressure washer and everything left behind will be donated or thrown away. Make sure before you leave for spring break everything is cleaned out of your locker in the locker rooms.
