MHS Announcements - Friday, February 21, 2025 


 

 

*The girls varsity hockey team lost 2-5 to Black River Falls last night in the first round of playoffs. Congratulations to the girls for a great season overall and a special thank you to the seniors for their years of dedication and love to the sport.

 

*The boys hockey team ended their season last night with a 3 - 6 loss to the RAM Co-op.

 

*Attention students...are you interested in participating in baseball, boys golf, girls soccer, softball, boys tennis or track and field?  Plan to attend the spring sports meeting on Monday, March 3rd.  Registration starts at 5:00 to double check that you are registered to participate and have paid the $100 activity fee.   The mandatory parent/athlete code meeting with the athletic director starts at 5:30 followed by coaches meetings at 6:00 pm.  There will be ImPACT testing available starting at 4 pm in room 154.

 

*Today is the LAST DAY to purchase a 2025 Yearbook! See the email from Mrs. Delong about checking to see if you still need to purchase a book. Don't miss out on the memories!

 

*From February 24th to March 10th the Pulsera Project will be at our school during A and B lunches.The Pulsera Project is a Fair Trade nonprofit organization that supports artisans & communities in Central America through the sale of their colorful hand-woven bracelets, or “pulseras,” in schools across the U.S. Each pulsera costs only $5 and comes tagged with the photo & signature of the artisan who made it. We look forward to your support of these communities in Guatemala & Nicaragua as we lead our pulsera sale in the coming days!

*Boys basketball is traveling to Chippewa Falls

*Girls basketball is celebrating senior night and hosting Chippewa Falls for the final home game of the season.  JV tip off at 5:45 followed by varsity at 7:15.  HOSA will be selling Silicone tumbler cups. These eco-friendly silicone tumblers are perfect for your on-the-go hydration. All proceeds go to HOSA (Future Health Professionals), helping with the cost of state, the resources for making pillow cases to go to children's hospitals, and towards the blood drive.

*Forensics is traveling to Colfax

*Gymnastics is traveling to Chippewa Falls to compete in the BRC tournament

*Boys basketball is traveling to St. Croix Central

*Individual wrestlers are traveling to Eau Claire North to compete in Sectional competition to earn their way to the state tournament in Madison next week.
