*The MHS student newspaper is meeting now in Mr. Collins room - 258 to brainstorm and assign article assignments.
*Attention sophomores, juniors, and seniors— unsure of what career to pursue. Then the ASVAB career exploration test is for you. ASVAB will be offered on Monday, Oct. 21. There is no cost! Stop by the counseling office to learn more or to sign up.
*National Honor Society Members, membership fees are due tomorrow. Please bring these to Mr. Schwarz in room 244.
*Sophomores and Seniors, this is to remind you that the Jostens rep will be here during both lunches today to pick up class rings and cap/gown orders.
*Sophomores & Juniors interested in a Healthcare Career, we have an exciting opportunity for you coming up on Tuesday, Oct. 15th, 2024. Students with permission will be visiting the CVTC - Menomonie Campus for their “Healthcare Exploration Day”. You will visit with the current high school cohort and hear about their experience in the Healthcare Academy, meet the instructor, hear about various learning options, tour the campus, the classroom environment you could be a part of next year, participate in a few activities and learn about how you can apply for the Healthcare Academy for next year as early as Nov. 1st. This is a short trip and students will be gone during periods 6&7. Sign up and grab a permission slip in the Student Services Office by: Thursday, Oct. 10th, 2024. SEATS are limited, so sign up soon!
*FCA is starting up again this school year. Meetings are held at 7:00 am Friday mornings in the Tiered lecture hall. You don't need to be an athlete to attend, just a willingness to learn and grow your faith.
*Picture retakes will be on Wednesday, October 9th. The photographer will be set up in the Library from 7 to 11:00. If you haven't gotten a Photo ID, this is the time to do so.
*Attention high school juniors and seniors interested in Manufacturing. On Thursday, Oct. 24th we will be going to MecX, a hands-on career exploration in CVTC’s manufacturing and STEM labs. Students will also go on an industry tour to see classroom skills come to life in real-world manufacturing settings. Lunch and a special CVTC gift for every attendee is included. Please sign up in guidance or with Mrs. Zydowsky by Thursday, Oct. 10th.
