Boys Tennis: Boys tennis finished out their season last night with a 9-1 win against Northstar Middle School! We are so proud of the great season the boys have had!
Self-Care Club: The final Self-Care Club meeting will be Tuesday during CARES in room 740.
Track and Field: Congratulations to the Boys and Girls Track Teams for their impressive performance with partial teams last night at the Eau Claire Invite.
The boys 6th/7th grade ran away with the win last night, as did the girls 6/7th grade team. The boys 8th grade team ended up placing second.
More records fell last nights as the team continued to burn up the track.
Bree Barfknecht rebroke the mile record in a time of 5:38.
Logan Topper broke both the school mile and 800 record running 4:56 and 2:18.
Vienna Paulson (6th grade) broke the 400 record with a time of 65.5.
The girls 6th grade 4x100 of Paulson, Avila Birmingham, Riley Lehman and Carmen Schrantz broke their own 6th grade record with a time of 57 seconds.
Some impressive other personal bests were run, jumped and thrown last night.
Silas Cameron won the 7th grade 800 with a 2:31. Maya Jochimsen (6th grade) ran 72 seconds in the 400. Nick Bossany and Liam Walley both ran 26.5 in the 200 meter dash. Dylan Schmidt ran 6:03 in his first mile of the year. Joseph Lor ran 12.8 in the 100, and 28 seconds in the 200. Everett Paulson ran 59 seconds in the 400!

Library Books Due: Students, don't forget this today is the final day to return library materials. All books and everything are due. Please check around to make sure you turn everything in.
Football: Attention any 7th graders interested in playing tackle football next year, we will have an informational meeting during CARE next Tuesday, May 28th in the gym.
Impact Testing: If you plan to participate in any sport at the high school next year, you will need to do Impact Testing. We will be offering 3 sessions at no cost Impact Testing. We will be offering 3 sessions at no cost at the Middle School for current 8th graders. Sessions will be Wednesday, May 29, Friday, May 31, and Monday, June 3 at 3:05pm in the LMC. You must sign up in advance and get a permission form that must be returned when you take the test. Stop in the office and sign up. Space is limited so don't wait until the last minute.
Multi-Cultural Club: Our end of the year potluck party will be today from 3-4pm. We'll meet in Ms. McCabes's room first and then head outside. Bring a cultural food to share.
Menomonie Cheer and Sideline: Tryouts are coming soon! 8th graders interested in Cheer & Sideline next school year are invited to attend an informational meeting on Tuesday, May 28th with parents at 5pm in the MHS Lecture Hall. Prep Clinics will on May 28th and May 30th from 6-8pm in the MHS Main Gym and Final Tryouts on May 31st at 5pmin the MHS Main Gym. For more information, contact Coach Maddi at [email protected].
Medication Pick Up: Tuesday, June 4, 2024 will be the last day of school for students. Please plan to visit the health office to pick up your child's medication on or before June 4, 2024. For safety reasons, we cannot send medication home with students.
If your child is attending summer school, please deliver the medication to the health room staff on or before the first day of class.
