Menomonie Middle School Announcements 

Office Reminders:  With the end of the year quickly approaching, we'd like to send out a couple of reminders. 

If you are picking your student up early, please send a note with your student and have them bring it to the office upon arrival.  We will give them a pass to leave class and try to have them in the office 5 minutes prior to your arrival.  Notes are required from home.  Students will not be given a pass without parent contact with the office.  Last minute calls are discouraged as we have to interrupt class time.

Don't forget!  Class begins at 7:43am.  We have had a lot of late arrivers.  Students are counted as late if they arrive after 7:43am.  Please make sure your student is arriving to school on time.

Boys Tennis:  Boys tennis was in action against Northstar and Altoona last night. M1 lost a close match against Altoona at home 4-6, but M2 pulled off a win against Northstar 7-4! Winning all of their matches were Gabe, Ryan, CJ, Jake, Ian, and Ben. There were many individual wins throughout the evening, but most importantly all of the boys played some of their best tennis!

Multi-Cultural Club:  We have a meeting after school today from 3 - 4 in Ms. McCabe's room.  We will have a guest speaker from Thailand.  We will sign up for selling concessions and finalize our year end activities.  See you there!

Self-Care Club:  Self Care Club will meet today during CARES in room 740.

Yearbook:  We will have our final meeting tomorrow in Mrs. Forster's room right after school until 4pm.  We will be handing out yearbooks and enjoying some pizza!

Tennis Shoes:  Have you recently outgrown your last pair of tennis shoes or wanted to upgrade to the newest model? The PE department is looking for any gently worn tennis shoes your family isn't in need of anymore. If you have any that you are willing to donate please bring to the office at the middle school. Your pre-loved sneakers can do a world of good for those needing a pair. We appreciate your generosity!

Medication Pick Up:  Tuesday, June 4, 2024 will be the last day of school for students.  Please plan to visit the health office to pick up your child's medication on or before June 4, 2024.  For safety reasons, we cannot send medication home with students.

If your child is attending summer school, please deliver the medication to the health room staff on or before the first day of class. 

Title 1 Spring Meeting:  There will be a Title 1 Spring Meeting will be on Monday, May 20^th at 3:15pm in MMS room 621.  All parents/guardians are invited to attend.
