Yearbook Club:  The February Yearbook meeting will be on Thursday, February 22 right after school in Mrs. Forster's room until 4:00pm.

Spamalot the Musical:  Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries!  Don't miss your opportunity to be a part of the comedic genius that was Monty Python.  Auditions for Spamalot the Musical will be next week Monday and Tuesday in the choir room.  You must register before you audition on the MMS Drama website.  If you have any questions, see Mrs. Enyeart.

Raffle Winners:  Congratulations to all of our raffle winners!  You will be able to pick up your prizes in the library during lunch today.  Winners are on the slide show that was shared in CARES.

Science Olympiad:  It was a very close competition, with some of the lowest regional scores ever!  We earned a score of 50, just 10 points behind Boyceville, netting us a second place regional finish.

Yearbooks:  Last call to get your Yearbook at the lowest price it will be!  Order it online at jostens.com by this Friday, February 23rd to get it for $25.  No in person sales.

February is Black History Month:  Every February, the U.S. honors the contributions and sacrifices of African Americans who have helped shape the nation.  Black History Month celebrate the rich cultural heritage, triumphs and adversities that are in indelible part of our country's history.  Throughout the month of February, MMS will recognize just a few African Americans who have influenced this country.

In August 2020, Jason Wright became president of the Washington Football Team, making him the National Football League's first-ever Black president. At 38, Wright is also currently the youngest president of an NFL team.
