Menomonie Middle School Announcements –

Multi Cultural Club:  The next Multi Cultural club meeting will be this Friday, October 27th until 4:00pm in room 825.  Mrs. Xelhuantzi will present about Dia de los Muertos.    Butter Braid orders are DUE!

SMART Girls Rock:  After announcements, please have all 6th grade girls come down to the cafeteria for a presentation.

FCA:  FCA meeting tomorrow at 6:50am.  Bring a friend!!  See you all tomorrow!

Chromebook:  Mrs. Bystol’s PE classes ~ Bring your chromebook to class today.

7th Grade Volleyball:  The 7th grade volleyball team finished their season strong last night against Northstar.  All three teams improved so much over the season!  Your coaches are very proud of all of you!  Remember, we have our end of the season party right after school until 4 in Coach Erickson’s room located in the 6th grade blue pod.

Trick or Can Food Drive:  Are you interested in winning donuts for your CARES class?  The Menomonie High School DECA Organization is hosting a canned goods food drive from the 23-27th.  The Cares room with the most canned goods will win a donut party for their class!

2nd Quarter Sports Sign Ups:  Signs ups will be in the cafeteria today and tomorrow during lunch.  We will be signing up for 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls swim and 7th & 8th grade boys basketball.

Volleyball Tournament:  Student Council will he hosting a volleyball tournament!

When:  Thursday, October 26th

Time:  3:15pm – 5:00pm

Cost:  $2 per player

Who:  6-8 people per team.  Teams can be mixed grade and gender. 

 

Registration opens October 17th.  Registration forms will be in the cafeteria.   Payments and forms due to Mr. Haas or Ms. Yonash TODAY!

Butter Braid Fundraiser:  Are you hungry for a Butter Braid?  See a Multi-Cultural Club member to order now through October 30th or as Mrs. Bade.  The Butter Braids will arrive November 14th in time for Thanksgiving.
