Menomonie Middle School Announcements –

High School Jazz Band:  A huge thank you to the high school jazz band for entertaining the MMS students this morning before school.  Your excellent music got us all tapping our toes and energized us for the day.  You were fantastic!

 

Track and Field:  Track will be done at 4:15pm today.  Please notify your parents for an earlier pick up.  Come ready to go tomorrow for our meet at Delong!

 

Girls Soccer:  Great work girls soccer team last night on their game against Altoona.  There were two goals by Kaiyra Winkler and 1 goal by Greta Cropp.  The girls are back in action tomorrow night in their final game of the season.  Nice work girls!

 

Boys Tennis:  Congratulations to the boys tennis teams for their victories over EC Delong AND Altoona on Monday and Tuesday afternoon!  The boys are definitely on a roll!  The M1 boys defeated Delong on their own court 12-0 and the M2 boys defeated a tough Delong team at home 7-5.  Against Altoona, the M1 boys won 11-2 and the M2 boys won 11-3.  Thursday is the last tennis match of the season.  Good luck boys!

 

Junior Police Program:  If you are 14 or older, the Menomonie Police Department is looking for students who want to join their “Junior Police Program.”  Applications are due this Friday, May 26th.  Please see Officer Tisol for more information.

 

Library Due Date:  Remember to get your books back to the library.  Everything is due this Friday, May 26th.  Thank you!

 

MultiCultural Club:  Our end of the year party will be Friday, May 26th after school until 4:30pm.  Please bring a cultural dish to share.

 

Donations Needed:  Girl Scout Troop 3015 is working on their silver Award.  What they are doing for that is making dresses for girls in Africa.  They are looking for felt and cotton fabric donations.  Donations will be accepted in front of the office from May 16 – May 26.  They appreciate any donations and want to thank you for helping with the success of their project.
