Parent Reminder:  If you plan to pick up your student during the school day, please send a note to the office with your student the morning of and we will get them a class pass to be in the office 5 minutes before your arrival.  Please try to make end of the day plans ahead of time and communicate with your student.  We are getting many calls and parents showing up last minute causing many interruptions in classes. Thank you for your cooperation.

 

Grounds Clean-Up:  Student Council is hosting a school grounds clean up.  Everyone is welcome.  We will meet after school on Tuesday, November 1st in the cafeteria.  Hot chocolate will be served after.  The even goes until 4:15pm.

 

Lifeguard:  Have you ever wanted to be a lifeguard?  Lifeguarding is taught at the HS as a semester class and you can work at the HS as a lifeguard at age 15.  To prepare to be a lifeguard, you should consider joining the MS girls swim team starting this Thursday or the boys swim team starting in January.

 

Girls Swim:  MS Girls Swim starts on Thursday this week.  If you and a friend want to try swimming, please try this week.  We learn lots of new routines the first 2 days of practice.  You can join swim and be in the play, Science Olympiad, MathCounts and Bel Canto.  Our goal is just to make you a better swimmer.

 

Weight Room:  Anyone interested in improving their athletic abilities is encouraged to attend morning workouts with Mr. Bielmeier.  Tuesdays are speed, Fridays are strength.  Meet in the gym by 6:30am.

 

Smart Girls Rock:  Permission forms are due to Ms. Yonash in room 714 by Friday, November 4th.

 

Boys Basketball:  Our first practice will be on Tuesday, November 1st.  This will be a regular practice, so bring your basketball clothes, shoes and a good attitude!

 

Student Council:  Student Council member planning on going to the Regional Conference:  Your permission forms and money are due to Mr. Haas or Ms. Yonash by Wednesday, November 2nd.
