Volleyball Tournament: Attention Volleyball Tournament Players: Today during your lunch time, Mr. Haas will meet with you. Please wait for him in the cafeteria until he gets there. He will arrive about ½ way through your lunch period.
The Volleyball Tournament takes place tomorrow right after school. Come on out and cheer on your classmates and friends.
Trick or Can: The High School DECA, FBLA and National Honor Society has invited MMS to participate in Trick or Can. We will collect cans of food October 24-31. Can will be counted in your CARES room and the class in each pod who has the most at the end of our collection date will be rewarded with a donut party! All cans will be donated to Stopping Stones.
Music Fundraiser: Congratulations to our second set of winners for the MMS Music Department Donation drive! Ahmirah Yang won $5 to spend at the school store, and Daniel Ka gets to silly string the music teacher of his choice during lunch today! Music students, make sure you get your 10 emails entered to have a chance at this afternoon’s drawing!
Cross Country: Congratulations to the boys and girls XC team who finished their season in style last night.
On the girls side, the girls finished only 9 points out of second place with their best race of the year. They were led by Allison Xu, Addison Schuler, Breely Fuhrman, Kenley Greeley, Carly Weber, Ellie Moulder and Summer Hagen, who finished: 4th, 13th, 18th, 20th, 28th and 30th.
Special congrats to girls runners Kinzleigh Cody, Stella Lugo and Ella Weinberger for huge season personal bests.
On the boys side, the boys lit the course on fire with Evan Olson, Logan Topper, Oliver Lugo, Aiden Anderson, Everett Paulson, Jack Czechowisz and Brekkin Cody finishing 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 13th, 15th and 18th to claim their 4th championship in a row.
Special congrats to Will Haugle, Kail Hoffman, Bennett Jaeger, Ben Olson and Mathew Snavely for huge personal bests.
Student Council: Student Council member planning on going to the Regional Conference: Your permission forms and money are due to Mr. Haas or Ms. Yonash by Wednesday, November 2nd.
Halloween Dress Up Day: Student Council is sponsoring Halloween Dress Up day on Monday, October 31st. Costumes must be school appropriate (no blood or weapons) and there should be no hats or masks.
Science Olympiad: There will be a Question and Answer session for new and interested Science Olympiad members this Friday, October 28. Regular practices will start next Tuesday and Thursday, November 1 and 3. Make sure you’ve filled out the online form for sign up! Contact Coach Zuber with any questions.
