CORE Leaders:  8^th grade CORE leaders, please meet in the library today during WIN with your chromebooks!

7^th Grade Volleyball:  The 7^th grade girls volleyball team played 4 incredible games last night against South Middle School.  Each team won at least a game from each of their sets.  Every team played very hard with our M2 team playing twice and playing their hearts out each time.  Very nice job ladies!  The 7^th grade team will be back in action Thursday night as they take on Delong Middle School at home.  Come on out and cheer them on!

Homecoming:  Homecoming is Friday!  Make your plans ahead of time.  If you are riding a different bus after school, you will need to bring a note from your parents to the office Friday morning before school and get a bus pass.  If you are leaving early, you must bring a note from your parents with the time and reason.  Bring the note to the front office before school starts to get a pass.  Test/emails are not acceptable, you must bring notes.  You will not be allowed to call home during classes to make plans, so be sure you make your plans and talk to your parents before Friday!

Multicultural Club:  Are you curious about the diverse world around you, about languages, or traditions different from your own? Then Multicultural Club is for you! During monthly meetings, we hear from guest speakers from around the world, try new foods, and do projects to teach others about unique cultures. We will have our first meeting after school on Tuesday, October 18th in Mrs. Xelhuantzi's room in the 8th grade pod (room 825). If you're interested, grab a sign up sheet from Mrs. Xelhuantzi or Mrs. Bade. 

FCCLA:  Attention all those interested in being a part of FCCLA:  We will hold an informational meeting on today from 3 – 3:30pm in the FACS room.  This will be a short meeting so you can still attend sports practices.  We will discuss what FCCLA is and what we’d like to do this year!  Hope to see you there!

Putting Ourselves First Club:  We will be starting today from 3:05 – 4:00 pm in the Library Conference Room.  No sign up is needed ahead of time.  Join us as we discuss building self-compassion, stress management, boundaries and more.  Snacks are provided.  See you there!  Bring a friend!

Homecoming:  We will have Homecoming Dress Up Days next week.  Hats are allowed if part of the outfit.

Thursday:  Tropical (leis, anything tropical, etc.)

Friday:  Mustang Pride (wear anything to support the school)
