Helen Mears Art Contest:  Congratulations to Madison Klatt, Samuel Husby, Sara Palmer, Samuel Zander, Jasmine Amadall, Lily Gregerson, Madaline Townsend and Chloe Schoenick who participated in the Helen Mears Art contest.  Sara Palmer received 1^st place and Sam Zander and Lily Gregerson received honorable mention.  These students will represent Menomonie Middle School at the State Level Competition.  Good Luck and Congratulations!

Wellness Night:  The School District of the Menomonie Area in partnership with the Menomonie Police Department will be hosting Wellness Night at the Menomonie High School on Thursday, April 21st from 5:00pm - 8:00pm for parents and other adult community members. Please see the attached flyers for more information. We look forward to partnering with you and hope to see you there.

Lost and Found:  Please check the lost and found table for any of your missing items.  Items left will be removed from the building on Friday after school.

CVTC Energy Center:  Any 8^th grade students interested in a hands on tour of the CVTC Energy Center on April 28^th, see Mrs. Brown for a permission slip.  She can only take 30 students so the first 30 to return the slip will get to go.

Forward Exam:  We will begin taking the Wisconsin Forward Exam today.  Parents play an important role in helping children prepare for the assessment. Some suggestions to help your child include:

* Make sure your child brings their fully charged chromebook and charger to school.

* Make sure your child is in school and on time for the test dates.

* Make sure your child is well rested and eats a healthy breakfast.

* Make sure your child brings a set of earbuds.
