Boys Swim:  There will be no practice today after school.  Practice for Friday is cancelled.

Yearbook Club:  We will meet after school on Monday, February 14th in Mrs. Forster’s room.  Please bring your chromebook!

Black History Spotlight:  Jason Wright, first Black president of a National Football League team.  In August 2020, Jason Wright became president of the Washington Football Team, making him the National Football League’s first-ever Black president. At 38, Wright is also currently the youngest president of an NFL team. 

He came into the position with intimate knowledge of the league, having spent seven years as a running back with the Atlanta Falcons, Cleveland Browns and Arizona Cardinals. 

He spent his earliest days on the job meeting with employees, gathering facts and developing a plan of attack. He’s committed to making changes.  That includes creating a human resources department and making the “psychological and emotional well-being” of his employees his No. 1 priority. 

Lunchroom Reminders:  Friendly reminder from your Food Service Staff.  Please only go through the line once.  You are allowed 1 milk for lunch.  If you need another milk, please speak to a food service worker.  If you bring your own lunch from home and would like a like, please speak to a food service worker to get you that milk.  Please remember to place your lunch trays and silver on the cart provided in the cafeteria.  If too much silverware gets thrown away, we will have to go back to plastic ones.  Thank you for your help!

Mustang Minds:  There will be no Mustang Minds Tuesday, February 15th due to conferences.

Ice Fishing Clinic:  The Dunn Count Fish and Game are putting on a Youth Ice Fishing Clinic on Saturday, February 12th from 9:30am – 10:30am at the DCFG Clubhouse Basement.  This clinic is open to children ages 5 – 15.  Poles and equipment will be provided at the event.  Please bring winter clothes if you

Reminders:  We continue to emphasize hand washing, physical distancing and respiratory etiquette.  A friendly reminder to all students to continue to hand wash or use sanitizer in the lunch lines.  We have sanitizing stations located throughout the building in pods, entry ways, lunch lines and in classrooms.  Please stay home if you are sick or if you or a family member are waiting on a Covid-19 test result.
