3^rd Quarter Sport Sign Ups:  3^rd quarter sports for 7^th & 8^th grade girls basketball, 6^th, 7^th, & 8^th boys swim and 6^th, 7^th & 8^th girls and boys wrestling will be held during lunch on Tuesday, December 21^st and Wednesday, December 22^nd.

Core Value Poster Contest:  It’s not too late to turn in your entry for the core value poster contest!  The deadline is being extended to Wednesday, December 22.  Put your design on a regular 8 ½ X 11 piece of paper and turn it in to the office.  Be sure all 6 core values are featured in your creative design.  We look forward to having many great choices in our school-wide vote!

Battle of the Books:  We will be postponing our first meeting until Monday, January 3^rd.  Stop in the library and pick up books to read over the holiday break.

Holiday Game Night:  If will be fun, there will be hot chocolate, and it’s an hour to spend with friends before holiday break. It’s ugly sweater day.  What is it?  It’s the Student Council sponsored Holiday Game Night on Tuesday, December 21^st from 3:10 until 4:15.  This event is open to all middle school students.  Get your friends together and join in the fun.  There will be many activities – board games, Holiday booklets, Holiday Coloring and Holiday Minute-to-Minute games.  Don’t forget the hot chocolate with a candy cane.  The cost to attend is $2.00.  Tickets will be available on the day of the event. 

Yearbook:  We will meet today until 4pm in Mrs. Forster’s room in the blue pod.  We will start assigning yearbook pages.

Staff:  Please send Kathy or Amanda any pictures of events the students have participated in – classroom activities, extracurricular activities, sports, or any pictures you would like to see in the yearbook. Thanks!

Holiday Dress Up Week:  We will have a holiday dress up week this week through Wednesday, December 22^nd.  Please remember:  all school rules apply!

Tuesday, Dec. 21:  Ugly Sweater Day

Wednesday, Dec. 22:  Santa’s Workshop Day – trees, elves, reindeer, presents, candy canes, etc.

Reminders:  We continue to emphasize hand washing, physical distancing and respiratory etiquette.  A friendly reminder to all students to continue to hand wash or use sanitizer in the lunch lines.  We have sanitizing stations located throughout the building in pods, entry ways, lunch lines and in classrooms.  Please stay home if you are sick or if you or a family member are waiting on a Covid-19 test result.
