Battle of the Books:  If you are interested in participating in the Battle of the Books, you can sign up in the library.  Our first meeting is Monday, December 20th during your lunch, but come sign up and get a head start on reading.  Ask Ms. Kim in the library for more details.

Multi-Cultural Club:  We will meet during WIN resource on Wednesday, December 1st in room 418 with Mrs. Bade to plan our Winter Festivals Party!

Mustang Minds:  Our after school homework club will be kicking off tonight and Thursday.  If you plant to attend, please report to Ms. Yonash’s room at 3:15pm!  Bring any materials you will need to complete missing work.  We will end at 4:45pm.  For online homework help, the Google Classroom Class Code is v624r22.

MathCounts:  We have our weekly MathCounts practice on Wednesday until 4:15pm.  See you there!

Forensics:  This Friday, December 3rd, we will kick off a new Forensics season with an introductory meeting in the cafeteria.  What is Forensics?  It has nothing to do with crime or police work.  Forensics is public speaking – from poetry to stand up, from news reports to plays, and from readers theater to demonstrations.  To learn more, come to the Forensics kick-off meeting Friday after school until 3:30pm in the cafeteria.  If you have any questions, see Mrs. Enyeart or Mr. Haas.

Quote of the Week: When you practice gratefulness, there is a sense of respect toward others. ~ Dalai Lama

Word of the Month:  Respect

Reminders:  We continue to emphasize hand washing, physical distancing and respiratory etiquette.  A friendly reminder to all students to continue to hand wash or use sanitizer in the lunch lines.  We have sanitizing stations located throughout the building in pods, entry ways, lunch lines and in classrooms.  Please stay home if you are sick or if you or a family member are waiting on a Covid-19 test result.
