Weight Room: The weight room will not be open this week. There will be no morning weight lifting the rest of this week.
Girls Swim: Girls Swim informational meeting will be today after school in the cafeteria from 3:15 – 4:00 pm. Come see what swim is all about. You can be in lots of other things and still do swim. If you can get to practice 3 times per week, that would be great! We will have practice every day for those who can make it. Swimming can lead to a job at the High School or a swim teacher for swim lessons.
Baseball: 7th grade baseball players will meet with Mr. Slowiak at lunch on Wednesday in his room. No need to bring a glove this week.
Clean Up Day: Student Council is sponsoring a Middle School Grounds Cleanup day on Thursday, November 4th after school from 3:15 – 4:00. Let’s get the school are cleaned up before it is covered in snow.
Just show up after school in the cafeteria ready to work. Dress warmly and bring gloves. Some work glove will be available.
We will end the afternoon with popcorn and hot chocolate. Hope to see some of you there.
Butter Braids: If you want to order a Butter Braid you must order before Monday, November 8th. See a Multi Cultural Club member or Mrs. Lemanski, Mrs. Xelhuantzi or Mrs. Bade.
Science Olympiad: Science Olympiad kicks off this week! Please make sure to fill out the sign-up form and plan to attend at least one of the Tuesday’s or Thursday’s meetings after school in the library until 4:15pm.
Trap Shooting Club: Sign ups for Trap Club will be today, Nov. 2nd, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm in the cafeteria at the Middle School. Tell all of your friends!
MathCounts: Do you enjoy math? Do you love a challenge? Then MathCounts is the club for you! MathCounts will start Wednesday, November 10th from 3 – 4pm in the library. Talk to your math teacher or Mrs. Paull, Mrs. Forster, or Mrs. Kyles if you have questions or can’t make it to the first meeting.

Reminders: We continue to emphasize hand washing, physical distancing and respiratory etiquette. A friendly reminder to all students to continue to hand wash or use sanitizer in the lunch lines. We have sanitizing stations located throughout the building in pods, entry ways, lunch lines and in classrooms. Please stay home if you are sick or if you or a family member are waiting on a Covid-19 test result.
