Equestrian Team:   Congratulations to the Menomonie Equestrian on their 2nd place finish at state in Madison this weekend.  They competed with 33 other schools.  The girls scored 365 points over the weekend and missed 1st place in Division A by 11 points!  Way to make your parents and fans proud over the season and this weekend at state!   The girls also won the spirit award!  A special congratulations to our only middle school competitor, Allison Bartlett.  Congratulations on your Division A Reserve Championship!

 

PE Classes:  Mr. Beilemeier’s PE classes should bring your chromebook to class today.

 

Clean Up Day:  Student Council is sponsoring a Middle School Grounds Cleanup day on Thursday, November 4th after school from 3:15 – 4:00.  Let’s get the school are cleaned up before it is covered in snow.

Just show up after school in the cafeteria ready to work.  Dress warmly and bring gloves.  Some work glove will be available.

We will end the afternoon with popcorn and hot chocolate.  Hope to see some of you there.

 

School Store:  Student Council will also be opening the School Store today after school from 3:05 – 3:20. See what’s available and the prices on the bulletin board next to the school store – which is in the 7th grade hallway next to the library.

 

Butter Braids:  If you want to order a Butter Braid you must order before Monday, November 8th.  See a Multi Cultural Club member or Mrs. Lemanski, Mrs. Xelhuantzi or Mrs. Bade.

 

Science Olympiad:  Science Olympiad kicks off this week!  Please make sure to fill out the sign-up form and plan to attend at least one of the Tuesday’s or Thursday’s meetings after school in the library until 4:15pm.

 

Trap Shooting Club:  Sign ups for Trap Club will be Tuesday, Nov. 2nd, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm in the cafeteria at the Middle School.  Tell all of your friends!

 

Weight Room:  The weight room is open on Tuesdays and Fridays at 6:30am.

 

MathCounts:  Do you enjoy math?  Do you love a challenge?  Then MathCounts is the club for you!  MathCounts will start Wednesday, November 10th from 3 – 4pm in the library.  Talk to your math teacher or Mrs. Paull, Mrs. Forster, or Mrs. Kyles if you have questions or can’t make it to the first meeting.

 

Boys Basketball:  7th & 8th grade boys’ basketball will begin today.  Practice will start right after school and end at 4:45pm.  Be dressed and ready to play basketball on Monday!

Reminders:  We continue to emphasize hand washing, physical distancing and respiratory etiquette.  A friendly reminder to all students to continue to hand wash or use sanitizer in the lunch lines.  We have sanitizing stations located throughout the building in pods, entry ways, lunch lines and in classrooms.  Please stay home if you are sick or if you or a family member are waiting on a Covid-19 test result.
