Red Ribbon Week:  This week is Red Ribbon Week.  Red Ribbon week is the nation's oldest and largest drug prevention awareness program. Each year from Oct. 23rd-Oct. 31st millions of people across the country partake in Red Ribbon Week by wearing red ribbons and engaging in conversations and activities that focus on the importance of living a drug free life. Red Ribbon Week reminds us all of the importance of making healthy and smart decisions throughout life so that your dreams and goals can be achieved. 

 

Science Olympiad:  Do you love science?  Experimenting?  Building and solving problems? The Science Olympiad is the place for you!  Please talk to Coach Zuber, Coach Topper or Coach Scott to find out more and fill out the Google Form for sign up.  Practice will begin the first week of November!

 

Weight Room:  The weight room will be open Tuesday and Friday morning at 6:30am.

 

Boys Soccer:  Good luck to the boys soccer team tonight as they head to Northstar for their final match of the season!

My Teacher Rocks!  Kristo Orthodontics wants to know who you think the beast teacher. We all know how hard our teachers work, especially in the times we are in right now.  Give your teacher the well deserved thank you by entering them in the “Teacher’s Dream Survival” Basket Giveaway.  The winning teacher will be given a shout out and win a Teacher’s Dream Survival Basket filled with items all teachers need and want!  Fill out an entry form and submit it to the front office by October 30th.  Forms are available in the front office.  The winning teacher will be announced November 5th!

Reminders:  We continue to emphasize hand washing, physical distancing and respiratory etiquette.  A friendly reminder to all students to continue to hand wash or use sanitizer in the lunch lines.  We have sanitizing stations located throughout the building in pods, entry ways, lunch lines and in classrooms.  Please stay home if you are sick or if you or a family member are waiting on a Covid-19 test result.
