Volleyball:  Congratulations to our teams on some great games last night!  Please note:  There will be no 8th grade volleyball practice tonight.

 

Girls Tennis:  Your Menomonie Girls Teams went up against Eau Claire South and Regis last night and although the girls lost both matches, many of our athletes did an outstanding job!  There were many close games and a lot of great volleys.

FFA:  Are you interested in agriculture and careers in ag related fields?  Are you in 4-H or live on a farm?  Then FFA is the club for you.  Join us for our first meeting on Tuesday, October 12th in Mrs. Forster’s room in the blue pod.  We will learn about all of the opportunities available and meet part of the high school officer team.  We will also hear details about the Fall Harvest party with the high school on Wednesday.  If you have any questions or can’t make it, but want to join in, email or talk to Mrs. Forster.

 

Self-Care Club:  Join us for board games, pumpkin carving, cookie decorating, ginger bread house building, art projects, and more fun things to come.  We meet in the LMC Conference Room on Tuesdays right after school until 4pm.  Snacks provided.  Come be part of the Self Care Club and give yourself the care and attention you deserve.

 

My Teacher Rocks!  Kristo Orthodontics wants to know who you think the beast teacher. We all know how hard our teachers work, especially in the times we are in right now.  Give your teacher the well deserved thank you by entering them in the “Teacher’s Dream Survival” Basket Giveaway.  The winning teacher will be given a shout out and win a Teacher’s Dream Survival Basket filled with items all teachers need and want!  Fill out an entry form and submit it to the front office by October 30th.  Forms are available in the front office.  The winning teacher will be announced November 5th!

Reminders:  We continue to emphasize hand washing, physical distancing and respiratory etiquette.  A friendly reminder to all students to continue to hand wash or use sanitizer in the lunch lines.  We have sanitizing stations located throughout the building in pods, entry ways, lunch lines and in classrooms.  Please stay home if you are sick or if you or a family member are waiting on a Covid-19 test result.
