Breakfast Reminder:  When you are done with breakfast, please head straight to your cohort classroom.  Please stay in your CARES Homeroom.  Do not wander in the halls or go into other cohort classes.

Lunch/Outside Recess:  Please respect other classes that are outside using the outdoor classrooms.

Busing Information:  Due to the Covid-19 protocol, guest bus passes are extremely limited.  Kindly contact the bus company at (715) 235-4995 for any student requesting a bus pass for a guest to see if room exists on the bus for an additional rider.  We will still require a hand written note from a parent/guardian to issue the bus pass after it’s been approved by the bus company.

YEP:  YEP is back!  The Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) strives to provide middle-school students with drug prevention programming and opportunities to learn new skills while making a positive impact in their community.  Weekly Zoom meetings will re-convene at new times later this month, so if you have questions, would like to sign yourself or your child up for the program, or have lost your password, please visit https://yepyepyep.org/ or contact [email protected].

SAM Bags:  Students interested in signing up for SAM bags should make sure to fill out a form by Thursday, September 17th.  Anyone who wants to can sign up for this extra weekend food.  If you are interested, please make use of this great resource!  Forms are available in the main office.  See Mrs. Horner with questions.

Student Council:  If you were not able to attend the Student Council Kickoff Meeting last week, you can still join this leadership group.  See Mr. Haas or Ms. Yonash for an application.  Applications for Student Council are due this Friday, September 18th.

Quote of the Week:  Empathy has no script.  There is no right way or wrong way to do it.  It’s simply listening, holding space, withholding judgment, emotionally connecting, and communicating that incredibly healing message of “You’re not alone.” – Brenè Brown
