Softball:  The Menomonie High School Softball Program is holding a camp for middle schoolers on March 29th.  Please see Ms. Misco for the registration form and all forms can be returned to her before March 9th.

Health Office Reminders:  Wash your hands often to stay healthy!  Hand washing is one of the best ways to protect yourself from getting sick.  Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds – use soap!  Need a timer?  Sing “Happy Birthday” twice.  Keeping hands clean is one of the most important things we can do to stop the spread of germs.

Multicultural Club:  Our next meeting will be Thursday, March 5 in Mrs. Lemanski’s room.  We will plan the ingredients for our Indian meal on Wednesday, March 11.  Thursday’s meeting will end by 4:00 pm.

Donations for Soldiers:  We are once again collecting goods to send over to Alpha Co. 1-128th soldiers who recently deployed from Menomonie.  Some of the members of this group are relatives and loved ones of students and families in the district. The deadline for donations will be Friday, March 13, 2020.  Below is a list of items that the soldiers are in need of.  This is a much shorter list than before, but please keep your donations to items on the list as it will help with the organization and mailing process.  Please turn in any donations to the Menomonie Middle School front office. We appreciate all your help in supporting our local deployed service men and women.

Items needed:

Men's boxers size M and L

Gillette Razors

*Our goal is to reach 100 packs of each item above in order to ensure each soldier gets one

Annie, Jr. Auditions:  Audition spots for Annie, Jr. are almost gone!  In order to audition, you must register – don’t miss out on your chance to take the stage this spring.  If you have any questions, see Mrs. Enyeart.

Black History Month:  Bayard Rustin as an American leader in social movements for civil rights.  Rustin organized Freedom Rides and helped to organize the Southern Christian Leadership Conference to strengthen Martin Luther King Jr.'s leadership, teaching King about nonviolence and later serving as an organizer for the March on Washington in 1963.
