Please don’t litter: Mrs. Smith at Oaklawn has noticed a lot of busted pencils, candy and gum wrappers and gum on the sidewalks and entryway this spring. There is a green garbage can by the picnic tables in the covered entry. Please use that for all of your garbage.
Art Competition: Congratulations to Amber Remington, Jenna Karrmann and Ryleigh Woodford who qualified and represented MMS at the State Art Competition. Jenna took 2nd place in drawing and Riley took 2nd place in sculpture. Yes, they took 2nd place in the entire state! Their artwork will be on display at the Oshkosh Public Museum for the summer. Way to go girls! What a huge honor!
Track & Field: Congratulations to the track and field athletes who competed in the track and field meet on Tuesday!
There were many personal and season bests! Congratulations to many of you that competed and worked hard on the track or in the field.
Some 1st place highlights:
-Steele Schaefer in the 200 meters & high jump & long jump
-Julia Skorczewski in the 1600 meters
-Larry Rehberg in the 100m hurdles
-Madison Kwak in the Shot put
-Rebekah Oehler in the Long jump
-Henry Saunders in the Discus
Jayden Williams in the high jump and long jump
Winning relays teams were:
Jayden Williams, Ceasar Barron-franco, Aiden Untz, & Henry Saunders in the 4x100m
Steele Schaefer, Jesse Kissh, Kody Kazmarek, Ethan Schmidt in the 4x100m
Larry Rehberg, Henry Saunders, Jayden Williams, & Aiden Untz in the 4x200m
And
Julia Skorczewski, MyKenna Mogen, Rebekah Oehler & Ashleah Quilling in the 4x200m

We appreciate those that came to cheer and encourage you to come tonight to the high school to cheer us on again!
Reminder: Today track athletes should get out of class at 2:50 and ride one of the first 7 after school buses to the high school for the track meet.
Multicultural Club: We will be selling concessions tonight at the track meet.
