Homecoming Procedures:  *Attention Parents* If students are planning to go with friends on the bus after school on Friday for homecoming, please make sure you send a note to the office before school or during lunch.  Do not wait until the bell rings as there may not be time or room.  Texts and calls from parents/guardians will not be accepted.  A note from a parent/guardian is required for all bus passes.  This is an extremely busy day in the office so we cannot guarantee your student will get messages.  Please plan ahead and make sure your student knows what they are doing after school for homecoming.  Students will not be allowed to call home during class time.  If your student is a regular bus rider and they are walking or getting picked up, we do not need notes.  We only need notification if your student is riding a different bus with a friend.

Cross Country:  This is a reminder that we have a meet tonight!  All cross country runners should be dismissed at 2:45 pm for the meet at Chippewa.  Please be dressed and ready to run!  Meet by the locker room doors.

Kitchen News:  Middle school garden roasted red potatoes are being served with a BBQ pork sandwich at lunch today.  Be proud of what you’ve grown!

8^th Grade High School Play Tryouts:  The auditions for the high school play have been rescheduled for today at 3:20 pm in the Vocal Music Room.

Hamilton:  Any 8^th grade music students attending Hamilton be sure to check your email in CARES.

Music Fundraiser:  If you have not turned in any magazine sales, today is the day to get them to a music teacher.  After today, only online orders will be taken.

Tuesday:  Tie-dye Day
Wednesday:  Pod Color Day
Thursday:  80’s Day
Friday:  Mustang Pride Day

*No hats, hoods or bandanas!

Baseball Players:  The Menomonie Baseball Association (MBA) will be holding tryouts for their upcoming season on Sunday, September 30^th from 5 – 7 pm at the Wakanda diamonds #4, 5 & 6.  We hope to see you there!! Go Mustangs!

FCCLA:  Attention all those interested in being a part of FCCLA.  We will hold an informational meeting on Tuesday, September 26^th from 3-3:30 in the FACS room.  We will discuss what FCCLA is and what we’d like to do this year!  If you can’t make it, please see Mrs. Kellander for a membership information page and permission form.  Hope to see you there!

Core Value Poster Contest:  There’s still time to enter our core value poster contest!  Entries can be turned in to the office until this Friday, Sept. 28^th.  Be sure you represented all 6 core values on your poster and please put your name and grade level on the back of your entry.  You can work individually or with someone else to display our core values on your design.  Maybe your awesome entry to the contest will become the poster hung up around our school!

Multi-Cultural Club:  We will hold our 1^st meeting on Wednesday, September 26^th after school until 4 pm in Senora Lemanski’s room 412.  Please arrange a ride home.

Parent/Guardian Alliance Meeting:  The Parent/Guardian Alliance group will hold their first meeting on Tuesday, October 2, from 5:30 – 6:30 pm in the MMS commons.  You can check us out on Facebook.  All are welcome!
