Core Value Poster Contest:  Every year we get lots of great entries in our core value poster contest.  Let’s not make this year any different.  Display our core values of safety, pride, empathy, responsibility, respect & enthusiasm in a creative way on an 8 ½ X 11 piece of paper.  Then turn your entry in to the office by Friday, September 28th.  We’ll vote as a school after that to determine which awesome design will display our core values around school.

Multi Cultural Club:  Do you want to learn about cultures and countries all over the world?  Join Multi Cultural Club!  Get an application from Señora Lemanski in the Spanish Room or Mrs. Bade in room 612.  Our 1st meeting will be Wednesday, September 26th after school in the Spanish Room – 412.

All-You-Can-Eat-Breakfast:  Come out and support the high school girls hockey team at their all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast fundraiser this coming Saturday, September 22nd.  They’ll be serving food from 8 – 11 am at the Dunn County Ice Arena.  Tickets are $6 per person and can be purchased either at the door or from any member of the CFM team or girls from Menomonie Youth Hockey Association.

Parent/Guardian Alliance Meeting:  The Parent/Guardian Alliance group will hold their first meeting on Tuesday, October 2, from 5:30 – 6:30 pm in the MMS commons.  You can check us out on Facebook.  All are welcome!

High School Play Opportunity:  There is a rare opportunity for a few committed 8th rare students to be a part of the HIGH SCHOOL play this fall, directed by Mr. Halverson!  The show will be an original created by the cast and crew and containing audience participation and improve elements.  An audition and information meeting will be held on Thursday in the MS vocal music room from 3:20 – 4:30 pm.  If you have questions, email Mr. Blaine Halverson at his school email address.

Writing Club:  Writing Club meets every Thursday, from 3 – 4 pm in Mr. Collins’ room – 825.  All are welcome!  See Mr. Collins with any questions.

Magazine Fundraiser:  Friday is the final magazine sale turn-in day!  Bring all orders to the cafeteria before school!  Any questions, see a music teacher.

Yearbooks:  Order your yearbook now!  The yearbook price is $19.  This is the lowest cost of the year.  When you order online now until October 5th you get free yearbook icon personalization.  Order online at jostensyearbooks.com.
