Today is an “A” day!
Spring Pictures: Due to a scheduling conflict, we had to move our spring pictures to Thursday, April 5th instead of Friday, April 6th as stated in the newsletter. More information will come closer to picture day.
Congrats MMS! You raised over $120 in the first day of hot chocolate sales to help fight childhood leukemia! Student Council will have one more hot chocolate sale tomorrow morning. Be on the lookout for our raffle basket sales and a chance to duct tape a teacher to the wall!
Science Olympiad: Hard work was rewarded at Saturday’s Medford Invitational Science Olympiad tournament. Our three teams finished 1st, 3rd and 6th. The teams took home 54 medals including 10 golds, 13 silvers, and 12 bronze. Shannon mason and Elisabeth Woodward finished 1stin Anatomy _ Physiology. Ellen Dingwall and Autumn Larrabee finished 1st in Crime Busters. Shannon Mason & Ellen Dingwall finished 1st in Disease Detectives. Marlena Weghorn & autumn Larrabee finished 1st in Dynamic Planet. Allison Falkner & Isabella Kaufmann placed 1st in Ecology. With the help of Teagan Christenson they also were the top team in Experimental Design. Maddie DeVries and Kayla Kelsey won Herpetology. In the Microbe Mission Event, Ellen Dingwall & Shannon Mason placed 1st. Peter Bendel and David Ding were the top Road Scholars. Ben Hecker and Jude Ogden won the Rocks & Minerals event. Congratulations to all participants. There will be no practice tonight. Practice will resume on Thursday.
Forensics: There is a meeting today from 3:00 – 4:00 in the choir room. This is a required meeting. Please come with your forensics piece and a writing utensil.
Forensics students who are also girl’s basketball players – you will need to come to the forensics meeting for the first 15 minutes and then you will report to basketball.
MathCounts: There is a competition tomorrow. Please meet in the cafeteria right after the bell.
Boys Swim: We will have an intro meeting today after school in the cafeteria.
