Pennies for Patients:  The Student Council is working with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to raise money to help fight childhood leukemia – a type of cancer.

Our goal is to raise $800.  This amounts to one dollar and five cents per student.  We can do this!

Over the next three weeks, there will be activities and opportunities for you, the student body, to help raise money for this great cause.

Money raised by you will be recorded for your pod, so be sure your donation goes to your team.

Throughout the weeks, water jugs will be available for you to drop money into.  The jugs will be out during the lunch times.

The first week, Student Council will be selling hot chocolate in the cafeteria in the morning before school.  The cost will be $1.00.  This will happen on Thursday and Friday this week.

Next week, there will be raffle baskets that you can purchase changes to win.

In the final week, you will get the opportunity to duct tape some teachers to the wall by purchasing a piece or pieces of duct tape.

Check out the signs telling you about each week’s activities.  Also check out the big thermometer in the cafeteria to see our progress toward our $800 goal.

Together we can have fun and raise some needed funds to help those with child leukemia.  Thank you for your help in making this program a success.
