Dear SDMA Families and Staff,
Thank you for another great week of virtual learning in the School District of the Menomonie Area.
As we get ready to wrap up the 2019-2020 school year next week, please know that we are also working hard to develop plans for next year. The feedback provided by students, parents, and staff will be very helpful as we plan for multiple scenarios, and we will be sure to share some status updates with families later this summer. At minimum, families can expect to hear from the school district regarding plans for next year by both July 15 and August 15. Please know that the health and safety of our students and staff will continue to be our top priority as we plan for the 2020-2021 school year.
If you haven't yet registered your child for the SDMA Virtual Summer School Program, please consider signing them up today. Registration information was emailed to families on May 21, and the registration window closes at 4:00 pm on Monday, June 1.
Reminder: The parade planned for the 2020 graduates from Menomonie High School will be held at 1:30 pm on Sunday, May 31. This parade is not part of the official graduation events being planned by the school district, but we are happy to help communicate information about this event which was designed by some parents of this year's senior class. Please note that there has been a slight change to the parade route. We hope to see a good turnout for the parade in support of this year's senior class.
Thank you and have a great weekend!
