“I noticed you” fish bowl students who received yellow invitations need to report to the teacher’s lounge in the cafeteria for your reward.  Thank you for being a great citizen at Menomonie Middle School!

Rockets were flying last night outside MMS!  Bottle Rockets that is!  Science Olympiad Bottle Rocket tryouts took place after school yesterday.  Congratulations to Emily Zukowski for her winning rocket.  Emily’s rocket was in the air for almost 7 seconds!  In second place was Bobbi Jo Groff with a flight time of almost 6 seconds!  Third place goes to Avery Lund with a flight time of almost 5 seconds!  Emily, Bobbi Jo and Avery will compete for MMS at the Boyceville Invitational in December.  The next tryout event:  Towers will be held next Tuesday, November 22nd, after school.  Good luck to all of the students on the Science Olympiad Team.

Do you love the stage?  Do you love the spotlight?  Are you awaiting your Oscar nomination with your acceptance speech prepared?  Come show us your stuff at the kickoff meeting on Monday, November 21, from 3 – 3:30 pm in the Choir Room.  If you have any questions, see Mrs. Enyeart or Mr. Haas.

A huge congrats goes out to the girls swim team on their victory last night!  The pool was on fire as your girls swam their hearts out!  Your coaches are very proud of you!  A special thanks to the velvet of voice of Mr. Haas for announcing!

Congratulations to the 8th grade boy’s basketball teams on their wins over Chippewa Falls last night!  Go Mustangs!
