Good luck to the 7^th and 8^th grade volleyball teams as they open their season tonight, September 22^nd!  Friday’s practice for volleyball will end at 4:30 pm.  Volleyball practice tomorrow will end at 4:30 pm.

Next week is Homecoming Week.  Student Council is sponsoring Spirit Days.  Check out the posters to see the themes of the days.  Monday, September 26^th is HAT DAY!

Please release the 7^th & 8^th grade percussion sections to go to the band room after announcements.

Tomorrow, September 23^rd is the last day to get free icons on this year’s Yearbook.  That’s a savings of $4 per icon and you need to order online or with a paper order form by the end of the school day tomorrow.  Paper order forms are located in the office and on the wall next to Mrs. Creviston’s room.  Free icons!  Tomorrow!  Last chance!

Attention Students of MMS!  Are you interested in using your leadership skills to promote our school-wide Core Values?  Are you interested in promoting the concept of “optimism?”  If so, our Junior Optimist/Core Value Club may be for you!  We meet twice monthly during first and second lunch to discuss school-wide projects, assemblies and our traditional Hoffman Hill field trip project(s).  Our first meeting will be held on Friday, September 23, during first and second lunch.  We will meet in the FACS room.  Bring your lunch and your optimism!
