Congratulations MacKenzey Larsen!  Her Pointillism artwork took 1^st place in the State of Wisconsin – Wow!  Therefore, MacKenzey’s artwork will be on display at the Oshkosh Museum for the summer representing Menomonie Middle School.  Way to go MacKenzey!

Reminder:  Impact testing will be at 3 pm today, May 18^th, for those students that signed up.  Don’t forget your permission form.  Testing will take place in the computer lab.

Attention all writers:  Writing Club is hosting its 3^rd MMS Poetry Slam on Tuesday, May 31^st, at 7 pm at Raw Deal.  All are welcome to come and to share any/all types of their own writing. 

There will be no writing club this Thursday, May 19^th.  The last writing club will be next Thursday, May 26^th.

The final Student Council meeting will be held tomorrow, May 19^th.  Officers for next year will be elected.

Any Bel Canto singers who would like to practice during CARES this morning may come down with a pass from their teacher.

Attention Multicultural Club members:  We will be having our end-of-the-year party this Thursday, May 19^th, after school.  Come for food and fun in the Spanish Room from 3 – 4 pm.  See you there!

Parents/Guardians of 8^th graders:  Our graduation ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 2^nd, from 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm in the Middle School gym.  Please join us as we celebrate this great milestone!  Refreshments will be served in the cafeteria after the ceremony.
