We are excited to once again offer all Middle and High School students the opportunity to enter the Optimist International Essay Contest.  All of the guidelines are identified on the application which can be picked up in the front office.  The deadline for students to submit essays in February 15, 2016.

Lose something?  Check out lost and found.  It will leave the building on Thursday, January 28th.

Attention Multicultural Club students, there will be a short meeting on Friday, January 29th from 3:00 – 3:30 pm in the Spanish room.  Our yearbook club photo will be taken at 3:00 pm and an assignment will be given to each club member in preparation for our international cooking day meal.

On January 30th, the price of a yearbook will increase to $25.00.  If you are planning on ordering a yearbook this year, you should do so before January 30th.  Pick up an order form located in each grade level entrance or on the pillar by the office.  Turn this into Mrs. Creviston or the office by Friday, January 29th with the exact money amount or a check written out to MMS.  You could also order today or tomorrow online at Jostens.com.  Remember, on January 30th, the price of the book will be $25.00, so get yours today and save yourself $2.00.  The Yearbook staff is working hard to create a fun book for you to own.  Order your yearbook today or tomorrow!

Forensics students – don’t forget we have our team meeting today, January 28th, from 3 – 4 pm in the choir room.  If you cannot attend, talk to a coach today before the end of lunch.

Congratulations to our Spelling Bee winners.  2nd place goes to Holly Behrend.  1st place goes to Olivia Aronson.  Olivia will now move on to the CESA spelling bee to be held on February 17th.  Thank you to all the spellers for their hard work and determination.

Student Council is getting you out of your winter daze!  Check out the poster to see what the theme is for each day of next week.  Monday will be pajama/blanket day.  Get in the spirit and get out of the winter daze.
