Hey parents,

Did you know that the after school Youth Empowerment Program has gone on-line?

This program is about your children, whether they are asking questions, answering questions, or making their own videos, we want them to be a part of the fun and learning.

Here is a glimpse of our weekly schedule, which was launched on March 30th-

MONDAY- "Movies, Math, and More Monday" (Movie reviews, homework help, and a few surprises.)

TUESDAY- "Trivia Tuesday" (We provide a set of trivia questions and students can get prizes for answering.)

WEDNESDAY- "Website Wednesday" (Websites on topics ranging from education to entertainment.)

THURSDAY- "Talk to me Thursday" (The students ask questions and we answer them. Or, we provide information on topics such as stress management and making friends.)
FRIDAY- "Fun Friday" (Share a joke, coloring and art projects, fun in the kitchen, etc.)

We are also having themes for each week, which are reflected in the daily activities.

Week 1- “An Introduction to this Adventure.”

Week 2- “Welcome to Spring.”

Week 3- “Night at the Museum.”

Week 4- “Fantasy Fun”

Week 5- “International Space Day(Week)”

Week 6- “Exploring our National Parks”

And more to come!

If you’d like to receive a daily email that includes activities for your children, plus resources to help YOU during this difficult time, contact one of our YEP Team, Andy Schultz at [email protected] and he’ll get you signed up!

If you are sending notes to parents while school is closed, can you tell then that YEP is now on-line and providing daily emails to parents that are activities and resources to keep their children engaged and resource for parents as they go through this challenging time.

Stay safe and well.

The YEP Team- Kathy, Andy, Jennifer and Kenzie
