Yearbook:  The deadline for ordering yearbooks is Friday, February 21st!  Late orders not accepted so do not wait until the last minute!  The cost of the yearbook is $25.  Please order online at Jostens.com or get a yearbook order form from the office.

 

Annie, Jr. Auditions:  Calling all singers, dancers and actors!  Auditions for Anne, Jr. are just around the corner.  March 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the choir room, but you must register 1st.  Go to the MMS Drama website to register for your audition day.  If you have any questions, see Mrs. Enyeart.

Spring Volleyball League:  6th, 7th, & 8th grade girls interested in getting better or learning volleyball at a competitive level!  Practice will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Sign up meeting – parent required, February 25th at the MHS Tiered Lecture Hall at 6:30 pm.  Flyers are available in the front office.

 

Black History Month:  Toni Morrison was born on February 18, 1931, in Lorain, Ohio. Toni Morrison is a Nobel Prize- and Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist, editor and professor. Her novels are known for their epic themes, exquisite language and richly detailed African-American characters who are central to their narratives. Among her best known novels are The Bluest Eye, Sula, Song of Solomon, Beloved, Jazz, Love and A Mercy. Morrison has earned a plethora of book-world accolades and honorary degrees, also receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2012.
