9/11 Remembrance:  Today is the 18^th anniversary of September 11, 2001, when nearly 3,000 lives were lost in terrorist attacks in our country.  By Governor Tony Evers proclamation, MMS will observe this day with a moment of silence and our flag will be flown at half-mast.  Today, we pay tribute to those who lost their lives, survivors and surviving loved ones, our service members, and the heroes who responded during our time of need through acts of service to our neighborhoods and our communities.

Student Council:  The first meeting is tomorrow morning at 7am in the library.  All are welcome!

Writing Club:  We are planning on having practice tonight, so dress appropriately for the wet weather.  RUNNIN’ IN THE RAIN! YEAH!

FCCLA:  Do you like community service?  How about creating your own project and competing with it?  Are you a leader?  Would you like to be a better leader?  Then FCCLA might be right for you!  Come check out what FCCLA is all about on Tuesday, September 17^th.  We will meet in the FACS room from 3:00 – 3:45 pm.  We will discuss what we’d like to do this year.  Can’t make it to the meeting?  See Mrs. Kellander for all the info you’ll miss.  Hope to see you there!

Cross Country:  Reminder to all cross country runners, we have practice tonight.  Come dressed and ready to run and meet in the cafeteria.
