SDMA Make-Up Plan:  The attached is a note from Dr. Zydowsky that was emailed out on how we will be handling our make-up days/hours.

Hello SDMA Families, Staff, and Stakeholders.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding as the school district continues to deal with the inclement winter weather that has caused so many interruptions to the operations of our schools.

A make-up plan was discussed with the school board on Monday, and an update to the district calendar will be up for Board approval on February 25. Two days of school will be made up with students on Monday, April 22 and Friday, June 7. There will also be some schedule changes at the high school with designated testing and late start dates.

Additionally, starting on Monday, February 18, the school day will be extended by ten minutes for the rest of the school year (five minutes to the beginning of the school day and five minutes to the end). All bus routes (with the exception of 4K and Early Childhood buses) will be adjusted by five minutes, so please prepare for these changes beginning next week. Buses will pick up five minutes early and drop off five minutes later starting on Monday.

Any other questions about each school's adjusted daily schedule can be best directed to the building principal.

Have a good weekend.

Joe Zydowsky

Girls’ Basketball:  The 8th grade girls’ basketball team won at Eau Claire last night.  Way to go, girls!

Wrestling:  No wrestling practice tonight.  No wrestling mats because of the High School Sectional Tournament.

Science Olympiad:  Team hoodies have arrived.  Please pick them up from Mr. Evans.  Students competing in tomorrow’s Regional Competition, be sure to be in Mrs. Topper’s room by 7:00 am tomorrow morning.

Safety:  That’s why it’s important that every day you use your common sense and self-control to keep our school free of harmful or damaging behaviors.
