8th Grade Boys  Basketball:  Please make sure to get Mr. Mountin your money for Friday’s pizza party!

 

Blue Devils Community Nights!  UW Stout is inviting the community to attend various athletic events for free this month.  The following events will be offering free admission:  Women’s Basketball:  Wednesday, Jan. 9th at 7pm, Hockey:  Friday, Jan. 11th @ 7pm, Men’s Basketball:  Saturday, Jan. 12th @3pm and Gymnastics:  Friday, Jan. 18th @ 6pm.

 

Science Olympiad:  Due to coach absences, only the Maroon team will practice after school today.  Other teams will study at home.  All teams will practice the rest of the week.  See Mrs. Topper with questions.

 

Gaming Club:  We will meet Wednesday after school this week from 3 – 4 pm in the library.  Bring your Magic, Yu Gi Oh and Pokemon cards and join us!

 

Equestrian Team:  The Menomonie Equestrian Team will be having an information night on Thursday, January 10th in the lecture hall by the library at the high school right after school until 5pm!  If you are interested in joining, plan on coming.

 

MathCounts:  Our MathCounts students had a great day yesterday at the Eau Claire NorthStar Invite.  There were over 220 students competing from different schools.

Placing 3rd in the individual sprint rounds:  Olivia Rubenzer, Bridgette Coleman, Brett Hanson, Sawyer Bast, Brian Styer.

Placing 2nd in the individual sprint rounds:  Ilisabeth Doran, Shaun Kilde, Emmitt Ogden.

Placing 1st in the individual sprint rounds:  Raymond Pember, Gavin Anderson

3rd place in the team competition was:  David Ding, Connor Nordby, Emmitt Ogden, Tucker Bird

2nd place in the team competition was:  Damian Gray, Brian Styer, Ruby Rangisch, Emily Zukowski

We also had two 1st place teams: 1) Raymond Pember, Enzo Parent, Maxwell Kinney, Amanda Hoelzhueter 2) Varun Shirhar, Gavin Anderson, Olivia Rubenzer, Ilisabeth Doran

Congratulations to Emmitt Ogden who scored 4th place overall in the entire competition!
