Battle of the Books:  Remember we are meeting to do the next battle round during CARES and into part of Golden Hour tomorrow, Thursday.  We only need 30 minutes total time to complete the online quiz.  See you tomorrow – please be prompt!

Valentine’s Surprise:  Student Council hopes you appreciate the positive hearts on your locker and that you have a wonderful day!

Celebrate Black History Month:  Sojourner Truth live from 1797-1897.  She was born into slavery, but escaped to freedom and became one of the most noted African-American women speakers on issues of civil rights and abolition.  She was deeply religious and felt a calling from God to travel America speaking on slavery and other contemporary issues.  At 6 feet tall, she was a striking presence and used her powerful oratory to awaken the conscience of America to the injustice of slavery and discrimination.

Student Council:  We will be selling yummy lips lollipops at lunch on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  .50 per lollipop, limit of 6 per day.  Money raised goes to Boys and Girls Club and Stepping Stones.

Book Fair:  The Scholastic Book Fair will be open from Tuesday, February 13^th to Wednesday, February 21^st.  You can visit the book fair before/after school, during lunch and at parent/teacher conferences.

SAGA:  There is a meeting for the SAGA club on Thursday.  The meeting is during lunch in Mr. Collins’ room.
