Writing Club:  Writing club meets every Thursday, 3 – 4 pm, in room 825.  All are welcome.  Come when you can.

7^th Grade Music:  Attention all 7^th grade music students going on the “finding Neverland” trip:  There will be a trip meeting in the choir room during lunch today.  Get your lunch and go to the choir room.

8^th Grade Trumpet Players:  Any 8^th grade trumpet players who are interested in playing Taps for the Veteran’s Day assembly should go to the band room after announcments.

Math Counts:  Our kick off meeting for Mach Counts will be this Wednesday, Nov. 1^st, from 3 – 3:45 pm in the library.  Please bring your chromebooks.  If you cannot attend this first meeting but want to join Math Counts, please see Mrs. Tavares in the blue pod or Ms. Dombrowski in the silver pod before Wednesday’s meeting.

Gaming Club:  We will meet this Wednesday, Nov. 1^st, in the business lab.  Permission forms can be found in the hallways between the pods.  Gaming Club meets the 1^st Wednesday of each month.

Parent/Guardian Alliance Group:  The MMS Parent/Guardian Alliance is a group of parents/guardians and teachers who actively foster a spirit of cooperation and a sense of support, pride and enthusiasm for education. Nurturing a sense of community and engagement for families is our ambition.

Science Olympiad:  The Menomonie Middle School Science Olympiad team has finished second at the state tournament 3 years in a row.  We need your hard-work and love of science to help take us to number one this year!  If you are interested in joining the country’s most popular STEM competition, pick up an informational letter from the bin in front of Mr. Evans’ room in the white pod.  Event rule sheets are in the same bin.  Our first meeting and practice will be next Thursday, November 2^nd, in Mr. Evans’ room, room 818.
