Responsibility:  The word of the week is responsibility.  Be a good role model with your thoughts and actions:  be on time, be prepared, be honest and trustworthy.

Smart Girls Rock:  Any girls who attended Smart Girls Rock and have not written a “thank you” note, please see Ms. Yonash to get a card.

Volleyball:  Good luck to the 7th & 8th grade girls volleyball teams who take on Altoona tonight in the last match of the season!  Pass, set, hit!!

Cross Country:  Attention all cross country runners:  This is a reminder that you need to ride the regular after school busses tonight and get off at the high school!  If you normally ride a bus that stops at the high school, ride that bus.  If you don’t normally ride a bus that stops at the high school, please get on one of the first 3 buses in line.  If you have questions, please see Mrs. Topper, Mr. Evans, Mr. Murray or Mrs. Anderson.  Also, cross country shifts are in.  See Mrs. Topper.

Gymnastics:  The gymnastics meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, October 30th, because of the dance Thursday.  If you signed up for gymnastics you should be at the meeting next Monday right after school.  If you have not turned in your paperwork, please get all paperwork turned into the office before or by Monday, October 30th.  Practice starts November 2.

MMS Dance:  It’s DANCE time!  Yes, that’s right.  The first dance of the school year is coming up.  It will be Thursday, October 26th after school from 3:00 – 6:00 pm.  The theme of the dance is NEON.  Come dressed in your bright colors or just come in any color.  Cost is $4.00.  Check out the posters around the school for more information.

Desk Cleaning:  On Monday:  6th and 7th grade pods, keep your chairs down if you want your desks clean.  On Thursday:  8th and Exploratory keep your chairs down if you want your desks clean.

Rock-tober is also SOCK-tober:  Join FCCLS in our efforts to collect needed items for the C-s Center and Stepping Stones homeless shelter.  Imagine living through our harsh Wisconsin winter without basic necessities like socks and a warm jacket!  From October 5th – 25th FCCLA will be collecting NEW socks and new/slightly used winter gear like coats, hats and mittens.  Our community has great needs, but you can enter yourself into a raffle drawing for one of some awesome prizes!  Each article donates like a package of new socks, coats, hats, mittens, will be given a chance to enter the drawing.  Winners will be announced at the end of SOCK-tober!  All donations to the FACS room please!
