Homecoming after school planning:

After School Homecoming Plan Procedure

If you are planning to go with friends on the bus after school for homecoming, please make sure you bring a note to the office before school or during your lunch.  Do not wait until the bell rings as there may not be time or room.  Texts and calls from parents/guardians will not be accepted.  A note is required for all bus passes.  This is an extremely busy day in the office so we cannot guarantee your student will get messages.  Please plan ahead and make sure your students know what they are doing after school for homecoming.  If you are a normal bus rider and are walking or getting picked up, we do not need notes.  We only need notification if you are riding a bus.

New Students:  The new student lunch is today.  1st lunch will be in the silver pod and 2nd lunch will be in the gold pod.  Hope to see you there!

Core Value Poster Contest:  Come check out the awesome core value poster entries hanging in the front office windows.  Which one do you want to display our core values around the school this year?  Choose your favorite and vote during lunch tomorrow!

Cross Country:  Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country teams who opened their season last night at an invitational in Eau Claire.  The girls placed 2nd overall, just missing 1st…while the boys placed 4th.  The girls were led by a new personal best, 13 minutes, 11 seconds 2 mile by Maddy Palmer.  The boys were led by 6th grader Brayten Casey who started his career with a blazing fast 12 minutes and 20 seconds for the 2 mile course.

Also, congratulations to the many lifetime personal bests that were ran last night, including a 14:44 by Ben Hecker, a 15:29 by Kevin Leach, a 16:31 by Mitch Quilling , and an over two-minute lifetime best of 16:41 by Waylon Rodgers.

Special congratulations to Alex Slind for claiming the number “9” spot on the 6th grade record board with a 13:25 in his debut.

Great job all!  Results will be posted by the locker room after first hour!
